Hi guys ,
Just got my Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S88 MK2 and installed native access.
Kontakt worked well with my cracked librarys and the keyboard until one hour later everything crashed.
Now whenever I open a Kontakt 6 library in Cubase my DAW just crashes.

I also installed Kontakt 7 to try the same libarys but have the same error
Do you think that this could be related to my Keyboard?
Any suggestions for possible fixes?

Only use Cubase never tried any different DAW

I think there were some fixes suggested with Regedit but I forgot about them.
I also installed Kontakt 7 to backcheck (Used Kontakt 6 before), so it probably is a Kontakt Issue

Maybe the keyboard software has some Anti piracy measures?
Would be nice to hear if other people with this keyboard have problems aswell

 

Win PC or MAC?
If PC, is your DAW machine internet connected with updater and a/v services running? Of is it offline with an optimized OS?

 

Yes, using PC Windows 10.
DAW is internet connected.
Could it be that Native access caused problems?
Had to downlaod it with the komplete Kontrol to get my keyboard working

 

You should be blocking outbound traffic with your firewall. Your controller will work without either Native Access or Komplete Kontrol even installed, except for the display screens.

 

Any Idea what to block specifically?
Without Komplete Kontrol my DAW did not even recognize midi inputs from the keyboard.

If I had known that there was a Komplete Kontrol on the sister website then I would have never downloaded it from NI

I Just uninstalled Native access and used your Komplete Kontrol software from the sister site.
Everything is running fine again. Thank you all so much for your advice this saved my sanity.
Literally thought that all my recordings with Kontakt would have gone to shit
