thanks, BlackHaze for chiming in on this. I am using the first iteration of bobdules Kontakt 7. I hesitated to update to the .1 versions cause there was some talk about problems and then there was the r4e version which meant to address these problems. You do not happen to know anything about the newer 7 versions and how stable they are.?

You can install Kontakt 6 and 7 side by side. I'm on Kontakt 7 R4E's Version, before i used bobdules release without any Trouble.

Note from r4e:

"For those who asked what release does what:
- R2R's Kontakt works like the legit one. You can add libraries and play around.
- Bobdule's Kontakt works the same but without Keygen
- r4e's Kontakt is fully unlocked and allows to edit/modify protected libraries
You can also load custom libraries and calling home is disabled so no tracking data gets sended.

Now you can decide what works best for you."

So if you use minified or Lite Versions like i do Bobdule and r4e are the way to go.

I cant find any info on how to install the instruments into cracked kontakt. Do I need to use the launch library tool ? its says it requires native access to continue with this action but idk if i should use it on cracked version ?

I torrented some library called kontakt play series duets. it had an exe and it installed itself on my pc. I can see it on kontakt library.
the other thing i downloaded was some wind instruments and i can load them into kontakt by searching for them thru the "files" tab it dose say "demo" on all of those wind instruments for some reason but i don't think I'm limited in any way using them.

some other piano thing I downloaded I cant just load it thru file tab it says "this instrument belongs to a library that is not installed currently".

 

I have a question. I have a legit Kontakt 6 can I use a cracked version of 6 alongside it?

Got the same question than rquintas but on windows version. This thread is few years old, did something change ? Do I have to uninstall my old Kontakt 5 before installing Komplete and then reinstall the old k'd libs in the standalone bob dule version ?
If i do this, how can i make my Daw open that Kontakt 6 instead of my Kontakt 5.dll that he shall not find ?

Hi, I use Konakt 6 cracked version while also installed legitimate Konakt 5 full and Kontakt 7 player in Windows 10. Many times when left cubase project open and unattended for long hours, cubase frozed and got a crashdump file. As I use Cubase legitimate, I send the crashdumps to Steinberg. They pointed out the freeze was due to Konakt and to contact NI and let them know.

1. If I send the crashdump to NI, will they find out I use Kontakt 6 full vesion or player from the crashdump?

2. In case they find that and I can tell them this particular project was a collaborated work so its not in my computer will it be convincing?

3. Will they consider my existing legitimate software licenses from them and not take any action but just a warning or they will take action?

Please advice. It's mainly because of expensive libraries that I had to look for Kontakt pirated copy.

 

I wouldn't. Do you have your DAW on Autosave?

You are using Cubase legit, Steinberg has told you they blame your Kontakt. Your Kontakt is of mixed versions, and "demos". Cubase crashdump files are not difficult for them to see where you problem is. If they tell you it's your Kontakt, I would be inclined to believe them. you could even post the crashdump file.

There is no way I would go to NI about it. You have multiple versions installed, of various sources. They will probably tell you to reinstall them in maybe a correct order, but that will be their type of answer. There's almost no upside to involving them. They will either blame you and not help, or worse. You should fix your Kontakt situation without them. Why do you really need 3 different versions?
