I also updated the native access xml file, but it still doesn't work.

 

And about the nicnt file, I found a slightly different one above than bob's. Should I delete this?

 

I did this too, but to no avail...

 

Japanese. Translating this, I get the error “There was no UPID in productHints, the NICNT is either too old or was generated by a poor generator.”

I have tried this also, but to no avail, both with and without native access.

 

Perhaps, but there may be more of a problem with kontat 8 than with claire. (I have loaded another Library that supports kontat 8 or higher, and it is still in demo mode.

 

Try uninstall of both r2r and bob dule version.
Delete the json files and the xml files of the libraries that are in demo mode.xml files are in the same folder as the nativeaccess xml.json files can be found in c users public public documents native instruments installed products.
Then reinstall bob dule Kontakt.then put the updated nativeaccess xml file in c program files common files native instrument service center.
U should use the original ncint file that comes with claire.
Now you re ready to add the library using bob dule s add library...not the r2r Kontakt manager.

Following these steps your library will be added most likely.

The portable don't use json files.
to reproduce your trouble. (demo + missing samples)

i broken the library path in Claire json file with ContentDir in japanese
{"ContentDir":"D:\\NI コンテンツディレクトリ\\Claire 1.0.1 [Native Instruments]","ContentVersion":"1.0.1"}
and load the instrument from files browser instead of the NKS menu, or Rack view, where it even don't show in the list.

the regular Kontakt 8 use json, Kontakt 7 not, portable not.
this is one of the the major change in this build

it seems your Kontakt generated json path is not good. something is wrong to link the library.
japanese in Content path or something similar that kontakt don't manage correctly.

the Kontakt Manager you use also seems outdated (without claire inside) it can result unknow UPID.

 

I have all the relevant files in English, but the normal version of kontakt still gives me errors

 

it need a look into Claire.json
C:\Users\Public\Documents\Native Instruments\installed_products

to see how Kontakt 8 write the path.

and maybe correct it manualy, if kontakt fail to generate a working one.
i suspect the double slash to not been writen correctly \\ with yen caracter instead ¥¥

 

Yes..often times the content directory is not written. I just delete the json file then and 2nd time i open Kontakt,the content directory is written correctly.

if it write ¥¥ as in regedit ¥

kontakt8 don't manage well the yen caracter in json files, in the file name, but also for reverse slash.
it should be used with occidental based OS only. \\ not ¥¥

until NI enable it, if it is possible.

 

@bobdule i think he doesnt realize the importance of capital sensitive and tokens sensitive when it comes to path registration .seems all this trouble is because of that....let alone the japanese alphabet...sigh
