I installed Kontakt 8.0.1 for mac and imported libraries with the Bob Dule (which works incredibly well. Big thanks!!!)

In my Kontakt all the libraries don't display any artwork.
When I check them with Bob's Kontakt Library Utility there are no issues and wallpaper artwork is there.

I followed the instructions from NI (basically deleting a bunch of files) but didn't work either.
    Does anyone have a fix?

Little extra info. I checked and the images files are all where NI is saying they should be

Solution: change pricodrug or learn anything Kontakt related. K is a sampler, not a slideshow, lol.

I've been through the entire thread. Someone mentioned the same problem as me but no fix was discussed

I'm not a mac user nor i do not have kontakt 8, but i only have kontakt 5 player.. so not sure if it works..
But isn't it supposed to have 'wallpaper.png" inside the folder/library. Try making a copy of wtever pic u want and rename it to "wallpaper.png' check it solves the issue.

Didn't work. Which folder does it have to go? I put it in the same where the images are now

i dont think its on the image folder. logically i makes more sense if its on the library folder. for ex. if there is a lib called "bla bla 90s keys" normally in windows atleast k'ed kontakt looks inside that folder named 'bla bla 90s keys' on the root directory itself not inside any other folders.

I placed the artwork in the library folder next to the NCINT file but still nothing.
The biggest issue is that some libraries only load as KONTAKT and not with their name.

I saw someone else had the exact same issue in the KLU thread but unfortunately no one had a fix for him

It is my understanding that while KLU2 works fine for adding libraries etc (I usually use the traditional file/sidebar method as I don't like the slide show shill shop NI has added over the last few years, but probably will have to start using it to deal with the fact that snapshots and whatnot can't be saved in quickload etc).... but getting back to the point, KLU2 works for adding libraries on Kontakt 8, but there is a lot more going on under the hood, or rather, it changed enough in terms of some file locations and whatnot, that KLU2's creator, Fred Bloggs, said he was going to have to do some additional work and whatnot...and hopefully that will be forthcoming, as I know a lot of people are having some issues with Kontakt 8 similar to yours.

He marches to his own drummer in terms of time, and hell, I'm just glad he's still popping up once in awhile with updates, as he intimated he was going to retire from it awhile back... so that could be tomorrow, next month, never kinda thing...

I am still on Kontakt 7 as no need for anything 8 delivers yet myself, and don't need the headache, as my KLU2/Kontakt7 setup is working great.

If you don't need anything that 8 requires, I would perhaps suggest using Kontakt 7.

(also, I didn't know Bob Dule got into the macOS realm, as it was my understanding he was previously all windows.... that is good news for everyone.)

Great to hear that Kontakt 7 works fine. Is it apple silicon compatible? I might just grab a version of Kontakt 7 then. Do they run alongside?

    did you checked this path?
    /Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Kontakt 8/PAResources/image/abbey road 60s drummer

    windows use this path:
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\NI Resources\image\abbey road 60s drummer
it will need a mac export to get the graphics showing.

I haven't been able to use Kontakt for months. I can't figure it out. Mac. Same thing with Sequoia and Sonoma. Basically has been bricked ever since I tried Kontakt 8 from the sister site. It shows the same thing in every Kontakt now. Here is a ss of it.

I believe they work side by side, as previous versions did.. I used to have to have versions 1,2,3,4,5 etc all installed due to their plugin identifier and legacy projects with dependancies on older versions, and I believe (I will be corrected if I am wrong I'm sure), that I have read Kontakt 7 and Kontakt 8 can coexist... (unless there are some .xml or .json files moved or something, I see no reason why K7 wouldn't work..but this is exactly why I haven't futzed with it, as I don't like what I've read about certain file management things NI changed or my limited understanding of gist of it... mine is working, I hear other people complaining or having problems daily... so f that for now...)

and yes, I'm on an m3 max, and it is apple silicon compatible absolutely.

Grab the latest HCiSO version at sister site for the source.

But to note, when people go willie nilly installing libraries and whatnot, or changing snipd numbers and adding artwork etc... it might be just best to uninstall v8, and start over with v7 clean and installing stuff via KLU, as I can see that making a mess somewhere in some plist or xml file and location things and whatnot.... it's just a lot of people jump into this without closely reading the fine print of things like KLU2 closely, which if you follow to a t, will work flawlessly generally, but you have to be 'somewhat' precise, or rather, 'neat', and not sloppy...
