I downloaded kontakt7 from bob dule site.
I don't know if the patcher didn't work.
Still looks like a demo version.

the patch say error can not access files.
the screen shot with serial ??? mean you are using the vkDanilov portable VST3.

use both correctlly and all will be ok.

i do not have vkdanilov Kontakt installed on my pc, perhaps a long time ago. before installing Kontakt 7 i had Bob Dule’s Kontakt 6.

i have Native Instruments FX bundle, FM8 & Massive with Native Access, if that matters

 

Have you started the patcher with admin rights?

 

it automatically asks every single time

 

i even tried uninstalling & clearing all know known kontakt directories then reinstalling it… over ten times already

 

Have you cleared C:\Users\"YourUsername"\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kontakt ? its a hidden folder.

Try to use Revo Uninstaller could also help and restarting after uninstalling and before installing.

Mine is also still in demo with this 7.18 and the previous 7.16 also had the same issue. Also started the patcher as admin. the There are no error messages and the tool says 'patching done' after some time. And the files (exe and vst3) are patched because I can see a difference in content between the patched and the backups. Everything seems to work fine tho and it opens all libraries normally without any issue. Not sure if it's just a matter of displaying the wrong status? As long as it keeps working I don't really care.

To be sure I also followed the instructions from here: https://audiosex.pro/threads/latest-k7-release-broke-all-of-my-kontakts.68785/#post-686986 and entered the native access registry key.

I also have the last Kontakt 6 (6.71) from Bob Dule and an old portable 5.80 installed. No vkDanilov version. They both display 'Full' and are working OK also.

i have show hidden folders enabled so yes i have deleted it & have also uninstalled using iObit Uninstaller

 

Thing is yes i see there is difference after patching but when i open some libraries the libraries say demo… because some libraries only work with the full version of kontakt

 

Solution is easy. You need to download Native Access from the Ni website. Install it but don't open, next patch as admin with the Bob Dule patcher and voilá, full Kontakt.

 

about to give this Native Access route a try & if it doesn’t work stg i am on your ass. lol

Hi, before you give up try "Kontakt 7 v7.1.3 -bobdule 14.12.22" easy install and everything works out of the box. I am happy with this release

 

I followed your advise and downloaded and installed Native Access 2 from the website. Didn't do anything else like re installation of 7.18 or patch it again. Now it says 'Full'. Also the other versions 5.80 and 6.71 still work OK. Thanks!
