Kontakt 7 7.5.0 R2R is missing now [solved]

    Formatted my pc, reinstalled Kontakt and now I am getting this!! Please help

    Because it was the only version of Kontakt to be released without a number apart from v1. After everyone complained about backward compatibility NI promised not to do it again so changed the name of the plugin to a generic one, which they immediately broke, when v7 came out.... So, your arrangement is actually looking for the Kontakt 6 plugin.

    You could try manually matching the patch in Kontakt 7, otherwise you will need to install the v6 instance. let's hope you didn't use the v6 Factory Library as you will need to install this as well. Working with old arrangements and Kontakt patches has always been a pain, hence story above. Best stream them to Audio when finished.
