Hello, I didn't even start filling my quickload that it's buggy. there's the loading icon indefinitely

 

im having the exact same issue since 7.1 one and now 7.3. cant even use my libraries

 

Can you guys give more info? Kontakt type (legit, mac vaccined, bobdule and so on), Windows or Mac OS version...

Kontakt 7.3.2 Full Options

the as been doing this since I upgraded to kontakt 7 and all of its upgrades since then.

I had to format my PC recently, reinstalled everything, still does it.

 

Same here, tried almost anything "install related" but can't manage to find a solution.
The problem doesn't happen with the portable or the R2R version, so I'm using them both for the time, even if I like the "classic" bobdule's one a lot more...

Entirely offline computer, since day 1.
(As mentionned, the problem is with Bobdule's release, since Kontakt version 7)

 

no problemo with quick load made from K7

quick load are only short cuts to nki.
have a look in;
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7\QuickLoad\Instruments
and Maybe copy/paste your list made from K6
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Native Instruments\Kontakt\QuickLoad\Instruments

it is not linked to kontakt but the user management, cleaning tools, uninstall result, library move, folder rename etc...
there is absolutelly no trouble with quickload.

Didnt do it for me. I have a fresh install in my system so I had zero shortcuts in my quicload folder. still I created a test folder with some shortcuts inside, STILL kontakt keeps on loading forever not showing any information inside. the little moving "loading" icon does not come off. lef it for 12 hours. everything else looks fine.

There are multiple people having this issue.

 

it come's from no NativeAccess.xml file in service center.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

this situation will also result a demo status for Kontakt & libraries.
simply use native access as every regular user, to download and update this file.
it can be done on a connected machine and copy/pasted on a not connected machine.

multiple people are not using the regular way, including the NI downloader.
there is nothing to fear from it.

 

hi thanks bobdule. i checked, and I have a native access XML file in that folder. it has around 3mb.
The libraries I have registered successfully are not in demo mode and are working fine. i literally, as the other users, just don't have access to the quickload.

I'm not entirely sure how to use native access?

open and login to download the last native access xml.
it will list your installed products and enable few one's from the free offer.

you can see all libraries from prefs/legacy products/ show discontinued products.

you should have the quickload working normally. restart kontakt to take the change after native access install.

 

Some weeks ago, I did already download the xml file from an online computer then put it in the service center folder (neither kontakt or libraries showed as demo after that, so I guess it did the trick for that purpose), but no luck with the quickload...

The reason I don't use native access is because it's my entire computer I wish to keep away from internet, not only kontakt

if your pc completely offline... how native access can use internet on this pc?

 

All works fine here..... No issues....

Remember that QL are linked to nki's and after start K7 must read/scan all of them. If u have many many many stuff in QL it can take a while but as u see works as i should be.

 

It can't, that's precisely my point...Don't get what you don't get...

I gave an entire night everytime I reinstalled Kontakt, but it didn't do the trick. I know kontakt 7 and the quickload works normally for a lot of people with Bobdule's version , my point -and the few other users that have encountered the same problem as me- is absolutely not to say otherwise.

Anyway, as I said I now use R2R version and Portable one without any issue, it's just that until now I always used Bobdule's version, and would have liked to continue to, but honestly we are blessed with no less than 3 different release for one plugin, so no complaint from me!
