Hello everyone!

I have an issue regarding Kontakt 6.5.2/6.5.3 Bob Dule version.

I am currently using Pro Tools version 2021.3.1 and Reaper v6.27 on Windows 10 Pro 20H2.

Kontakt works as a stand-alone application and my libraries show up, Kontakt works as a VST3 on reaper but it does NOT work as an AAX plugin in Pro Tools. I had an issue with another plugin, Melodyne but after reinstalling Pro Tools it seems to work now. Massive X 1.3.1 also does not work in Pro Tools as an AAX plugin but works in Reaper.

I have tried reinstalling pro tools, using a 2019 version of pro tools but nothing seems to work in regards to this k'd Kontakt.

My pro tools is legit and reaper is in evaluation mode.

I can use Kontakt thru Reaper as a plugin inside Pro Tools but this can get annoying for workflow.

Is there anything I can do to figure out why Kontakt isn't working on Pro Tools?

Cracked / modified AAX don't work with legit protocols. AAX just be untouched to work with legit Protocols.
So, only the AAX that have been cracked without modifying the original file can be used with legit PT.

 

Thank you for the response. I guess Melodyne, RX 8 suite, Serum, Arturia Synth Collection and KORG Synth collection work on my legit Pro Tools install but Kontakt, Massive, Massive X and u-he synth collection does not.

All of these are K'd and I have no way of knowing which K'd ones are without modification of the original files.

Would it be a good to just record MIDI on Reaper and bounce the files once they are ready and process them on Pro Tools?

 

you can still use blue cat Patchwork plugins chainer on the VST.
the vst3 dll is comming from the beta 6.6.0.

a majority of NI product fix deleted the pace anti piracy part of the code, they will never be taken by a legit protools.
kontakt don't use it. the last fix is linked to ras3 license, matching with any version, player, full, or missing.

do you have one? meaning Kontakt player license and native access installed on your machine.with a login at Ni.
the aax is tested on Audio utopia protools and it load normally.

 

I'm not a Pro Tools user, but I've seen that if any releases work with legit PT, the NFO explicitly mentions that. I guess it's safe to assume k'd stuff doesn't work with legit PT unless explicitly stated so.

 

Yes, I do have Kontakt Player and NI login. I downloaded a k'd version of Bluecat's plugins and that was not recognized by PT as legit AAX. Guess I might have to buy that one.

I guess I have been spoiled by my MacBook laptop, where I've been using all these plugins no problem on Logic, I could have sworn I had Kontakt work thru ProTools on too but I was using a limited time license and only recently had purchased Pro Tools Perpetual in Late 2020.

 

it was a very bad idea to purchase Protools.

try the demo v2.5 of blue cat to see if it take your locked plugins.

the 2.42 retail setup can use the R2R keygen, nothing is patched inside, Retail and R2R files are the same files.
it should work also with 2.5.

Yeah...that is a lesson learned.

I figured since I had no issues on my MacBook it would be smoother on Windows.

I'll try the bluecat patchwork and see if it works.

I found a 6.5.3 k'd Kontakt version that actually runs in Pro Tools as an AAX plugin, problem is there is no key attached and asks to activate or run in DEMO MODE, is there a way to grab whatever key is attached to the other KONTAKT and add it to this new one?
