Hello I've been trying to load Kontakt 6 with no luck. It shows up in the browser but it cannot be loaded, when I drag it to create a new track it does nothing (not even an error message). I tried with older Kontakt 5 versions and they worked with no issue, but now the problem is that I already batched and resaved most of the libraries and they won't work in older Kontakt versions. I tried to run compatibility mode, run as administrator and reinstalling Kontakt but still no luck.

    Hope there is a fix.

    Thanks.

As musch as I am a die-hard REAPER fan, that's not an answer to Studio One issue.

@shake_puig , you can try with Kontakt Portable (they can co-exist side by side) and see if it solves the problem. I have Kontakt Portable 6.2.2 installed and loading fine in legit Studio One 4.6.1

    Are you on mac?

If so, you may need to sign the vst and au: sudo codesign -fs - /path/to/plugin

I tried but seems it's not detected in S1 but it is detected in other DAWs ( FL Studio, Ableton), It's weird.

Also it appears to be detected by Studio One during scanning new vst plugins, but when it's done it's not listed.

Yes, it works. The weird part it's being detected during scan, but not show up in the list of S1

hi, im new to S1 but have you tried rebuilding the plugin database since the update?
i forget the correct S1 term but not the quickscan, rather the rebuild it.
i had the similar issue with SD3 v 3.1.7 after updating it, i could see it in the list but wouldnt load. so i rebuild the database and 3.1.7 loads fine now. i should check my kontakt 6.2.2 too

    try this:

A Studio One settings refresh may help to resolve your reported issue so please give that a try...

    Go to Help>Open Settings folder.

Copy the contents of the folder over to a new folder on your desktop.

Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file as well as the "Extensions" folder.

Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.

Test to see if the problem is resolved. If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.

*If you are missing presets or Sound Sets after doing this, double-click one of your Sound Sets. They're typically located in Documents > Studio One > Sound Sets by default unless you've placed them in another location.

This WORKED! it scanned again all of the plugins and had to configure some preference settings again but this fixed it.

Or you could just go to
Browser - home tab - plugin manager - remove plugin settings, restart and auto rescan.
