Kontakt 5.6.6 suddenly stopped working (using just for adding libraries)

    I have been using the 5.6.6 version smoothly and suddenly out of nowhere it has stopped and shoes "Kontakt 5 quit unexpectedly" error. It was working great without any errors. I tried reinstalling from the scratch twice but no luck yet. Kontakt 5.8.1 as you all know have no options to add libraries. Any solution for this please? Trying to drag a .nki into 5.8.1 directly says that it has instruments from library which is not installed so yeah seems like an end. Any help will be appreciated. Am on MacOSX Sierra. Haven't updated to Mojave yet.
