Kontakt 5.5 libraries disapear - SOLVED!

    Check this:

    Program Files\ Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center
    Delete xml library

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOTWARE\NATIVE INSTRUMENTS
    Delete library

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOTWARE\NATIVE INSTRUMENTS\Content
    Delete library

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOTWARE\NATIVE INSTRUMENTS
    Delete library

    Check SNPID in nicnt of the library you are trying to add, so that there is no conflict with another present library.

    If it still does not work, try another SNPID.

    You are the best. Thank you very much. It perfectly worked.

    Because I am on mac i had to use a program called TextWrangler but that did the job perfectly. This community is better than anything :)

    How can you be sure that all the libraries are always in the Tab? I occasionally realize that a library has disappeared, and I have always suspected that it lacks some ...

    Several times, I select 10 random libraries, write them in a paper, open Kontakt and look for them one by one. And they are all by the moment.

    Not exactly as you said because SNPID 444 was already taken but thank you very much. Apollo is yet on the tab after close and restart Kontakt 5 times. Now can say ALL my libraries work. Winner for you.

    I just took a look inside the sc3 file and it states xml so I figured what would happen if I changed the extension to a .xml from a .tmp. After seeing that it worked I was just simply amazed and figure I'd share with other having a similar issue
