Kontakt 5.4.1 not working on Mavericks?

    I am trying to get SMACK to work in Kontakt. It won't work unless I update to Kontakt 5.4.1.

    So, I deleted the older version of Kontakt and updated. And now Kontakt just bounces in the dock.

    I tried updated to 5.4.2. Still the same issue.

    I use DP, PT, Logic...all three. I tried to open Kontakt 5 standalone and it just bounces in the dock.

    I opened Kontakt 5.4.2 in digital performer and it opened ok. I haven't check full compatibility yet.

    Any reason why the standalone won't open? i imagine its not going to run great if the standalone won't work.

    not sure but... did you do all that "Permision/ Batchmod Reset" shit?

    Thats what always happened to me when I'd update Ableton and didn't do that stuff... shit would just bounce

    Drag that shit onto permission reset app and it will kill the bouncing act and launch for ya Peace Out :wink:
