Hi all, i'm new on the forum! And I hope someday I can help any one of you :D

So I'm working on a Mac 10.9 - 8Gb RAM - i5 and I got this [K]ed Kontakt 5.3. The fact is:

- I can add libraries like "LA Scoring Strings" or "Session Strings", and:
- Those will remain on the Libraries tab
- Instruments wont go demo on Standalone.
- Instruments wont go demo using VST.

- I can add libraries like "EWQL Platinum", but:
- Those won't remain on the Libraries tab.
- Instruments wont go demo on Standalone.
- Instruments WILL go demo using VST.

Im really desperate. I tried everything so far without any success :/
Any clue? Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

 

Simple: is your VST the same 5.3 version as your standalone? And did you reset your permissions using software like Permissions Reset (look it up)? It actually sounds like you simply replaced or installed the standalone, but not the plug-in version.

Im pretty sure I did copy the [K]ed plugins to their respective folders. Hmmm ...

Anyway:
- ill try using Kontakt as an AU plugin instead of a VST to see if theres a difference,
- ill try running Permissions Reset on the VST file and
- Ill post the results.

5.3 was buggy in the VST version crack, use 5.3.1, it works there.

 

No problem! I never installed the VST, just the AU and the standalone. I'm on Snow Leopard and had to run Permissions Reset on the standalone (and on the AU for good measure!) to get it to open at all, but, so far (knock on wood!), it's been running flawlessly. You may want to try BoogieWoogie's advice, especially since you're on Mavericks. Apparently, 5.31 has a specific fix just for 10.9.

I tried using Permission Reset and AU. But now the problem changed.

Instruments that already were loaded in several VST plugin projects still go DEMO.
And now I can't load a EWQL instrument as the message "This patch cannot be loaded. Make sure that the original library is properly activated" is shown

Damn, I had Kontakt 5.03 working with these libraries.

I'm so lost :'(

 

I solved my problem installing Kontakt 5.0.1
Ill wait for a better crack in newer versions.
