the best solution is for Logic users to just install the VST format plugins, even though Logic does not make use of them. Sometimes de-selecting them can screw up "certain" installers. You can always just back-up and empty VST folders, since wasted hdd space is the only reason to care anyway. I just unexpectedly got a s49 at too good a deal.

 

Yep, I'm just grabbing the original installers for the plugs I want to use and reinstalling with selecting the vst option - I was in the habit of not doing this as Logic doesn't use them but I'll try it for Komplete Lontrol.
