Hi. Out of interest. I am trying out the new Komplete Kontrol 3.0 software.

Looks nice. Ok. The offer itself is boring. Nothing new has been addes to the previous version.

But the actual problem: Although most of my Kontakt libraries can be seen when looking at the browser. Even the presets can be seen. But I klick to open it it does not work. In no case. "Could not load plugin".

I have my libraries on an e drive, which is no problem for Kontakt. But obviously for Komplete.


The Komplete software remains a mistery and disappointment to me :-(

 

Just installed legit Komplete Kontrol 3.0 software this morning - frankly I dont know why.... I never use it.

It keeps a lot of libraries and stuff out that was supposed to be added - but again I never use it.

 

works fine here, Komplete Kontrol 3.0. Had to open the standalone and let everything re-scanned for half an hour, but then it works fine as expected. Recall also open seamlessly. I even had the library stored on network drive (NAS). I assume you have Kontakt 7.6.1 installed and the location of the VST3 file is correct on the registry ?

I moved Kontakt 7.vst3 to the Native Instruments folder just to have everything organized and manually edited the registry.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments\Kontakt 7

 

Same here..;) always used maschine sw in or with daw instead. it takes longer to load a kontakt instrument with KK.. What's the (main) point of it? for NIs keyboards? Standalone? Preview? That arp thing..?

Anyway working here as expected (legit). Also it doesn't connect to internet or something. @Stevie Dude, your thumbnail not showing? I only get that w plugs like pro-q..



umm.. maybe this version is more usable. At least I can see some presets now. I was always changing the height with resource hacker with the old one, and then ditched it altogether.

 

Hi. You all made me think and I managed to get the problem sorted. B

ut - and that is really funny and bizarre - whatever library or alternative software I am using there is now always playing a piano sound in the background alongside. Aint that ... strange.

I guess I have to rebuild it again :-(

 

It is advertised as NOT WORKING with the Original Komplete Kontrol Keyboard and told if you own the Original Keyboard DONT INSTALL.
It's very nice of Native Instruments to NOT SUPPORT Their OWN Kontrol Keyboard GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and NICE TREATMENT OF THEIR CUSTOMERS.
I'm not expecting everything to work fully but I would still LIKE TO BE ABLE TO USE THE KEYBOARD THAT I BOUGHT FROM THEM, rather than being sent an Email Saying - DONT INSTALL BECAUSE IT WILL STOP YOUR KEYBOARD WORKING (but feel free to buy a new keyboard that we will stop supporting in another few years too).

 

I am having the same issue. I am on macOS 14.4 Sonoma. Kontakt 7.10
I deleted my older versions of Kontakt just to be sure, but I am guessing it has to be a .plist or .xml issue somewhere. Can anyone possibly point me to the file that I need to edit to get Komplete Kontrol to load up Kontakt 7.vst3 for all the libraries?
