Komplete 8 Kontakt 5 Library

    Hi,

    I downloaded the Komplete 8 - Kontakt 5 Library from http://audioz.info/samples/kontakt-elastik-refill/37108-download_komplete8-kontakt-5-library.html

    I've got all the parts from RS and I've extracted the winrar archives to (7) winrar zips which has given me (7) Factory Library Folders. In the folders is a contents folder and in there are archive.pax files, which I'e also un-compressed. I'm still not seeing the Kontakt .nkt etc files though.

    Currently using my Win7 box as the download gave brief instructions for Win users.

    Could somebody kindly shed some light on this please.

    pax is a fking apple pack format. its something like tar.gz for linus.

    u need to extract it.
    its the same procedure i had with the sound library of logic 9 i extraced on windows.
    just unpack the pax files and ull see there should be the nki stuff = factory samples.

    *EDIT* what as in the pax files?!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your response. I've added a screen shot of the folder and you can see I've "un-compressed" the archive.pax - WinrarArchive file and it has produced an archive.pax - pax file which I have no programs to do anything with. . Perhaps I'm missing the point.
