    Hi everyone,

This isn't a critical issue, but it's been bothering me quite a bit, so I hope someone here might have some insight.

Due to a silly mistake on my part, I accidentally deleted several folders inside the NI Resources image directory. As a result, the library thumbnails/images no longer show up in Kontakt or Komplete Kontrol.

For context: I'm using Bobdule's Kontakt version (which, just to clarify, isn't causing any problems here).

I'm trying to figure out how to properly restore the missing images. Here's what I’ve tried so far (with no success):

    • I completely removed the affected libraries (for example, Alt Choir and World Percussion Generator) — including their files, registry entries, and JSON links.

    • I then reinstalled them as I originally did: copied the library folders to the correct location, re-registered them using the .nicnt file, and restarted Kontakt.
Functionally, both libraries work perfectly in Kontakt and Komplete Kontrol — but their images are still missing.

What I don't quite understand is how the Resources image folder is populated in the first place. The image data doesn't seem to be stored in the library folders themselves, at least not in any obvious way.

    My question:

Is there a way to regenerate or restore the images for these libraries?

Thanks in advance for your help and insights!
