Hey,
I've tried to use KLC to add a few of my kontakt banks directly to kontakt but KLC doesn't work on WIN 11.
Does anyone know how to get it working or can help me add my banks?

Hi, I was the first to see this thread. At first I thought it was about "Korg Legacy Collection", not "Kontakt Library C.... [can't remember]. Anyway, I don't use W11 or Kontakt LC but have a very good knowledge of Windows [problems], so have you tried running it as administrator? I guess it's something to do with admin rights of the program to write into registry. Try and see.

 

Outside of what SineWave suggested (which hopefully works!), yes, you definitely can create the .nictn on another PC that has Win 10. I see you asked that in another, duplicate thread.

I'm not sure what all you need for that, so I'd just have the whole library on the Win10 machine when generating your .nicnt file. Then you should be able to just copy the .nicnt (and your wallpaper, I think) over to the Win11 machine.

 

this tool designed for K5 is obsolete

you can use tracer mini nicnt maker (ras3 updated) or total commander to make a nicnt.

 

Interesting, I've still been using KLC even for Kontakt 6! Good to know.
