Kick Layering

    That's a pretty decent kick drum sample..I think however it's a bit boxy sounding..maybe you compressed the low frequencies too much and you need to cut some mids out of there around 500-700Hz to get ride of that boxy sound. Usually you want to leave the low end of the kick uncompressed or lightly compressed so you can keep that roundness of the sub bass, and then heavily compressed the high kick to bring out the transient as much as you can, and then you want to make it just poke through from the low kick.

    i think its cool always depends on your track!

    but the klick is kinda short, could be good when you have other high stuff going on and dont want to have the kik up there too much but on the other hand... you know
