    Hey guys.

Anyone here that uses RealGuitar 6 frequently?

I don't use midi much except for programming drums, and haven't really ever used keyswitches (The DAW I use is Reaper).

I feel like a real idiot, but I can't figure out how to force a note to be played on a particular string.

Say for example I want to play an open A on the 5th string, and then C on the 10th fret on the 4th string, Open G on the 3rd string, and the Open B on the 2nd string.

I've gone into the keyswitch menu. Enabled the D#1 button to red, changed it from mute to string select, and then chose string 4, and set the keyswitch to toggle.

In a midi take window I insert the open A note and then the C note, the G and then B. In the same position as the c note I insert the D#1 to force the C on the 10th fret 4th string.

I press play and it sometimes works. I'll stop and press play again and the C note is played on the 1st fret 2nd string. And then sometimes the G switches to the 5th fret 4th string.

This shit is doing my head in!

Can anyone help a dummy like me out??

    Cheers
