I am new OS user, and I want to download keyscape for the first time with sound library.
I use M2 MacBook Pro, and I want to be sure I download the right patch and installations/libaries.
Can you guys do me favour and recommend to me what kind of installation I should choose? Do I need to find oldest installation and then update with different installations? Like starting with oldest versions up to the latest?

None of the intermediate versions need to be installed in some specific sequence; you can skip right to the newest updated versions after .

Let someone confirm this before you download something this big. You need the full factory Library, which is about 70 gig. Then the most recent update. You should not need to do all the minor updates for Spectrasonics plugins.

What I meant is that the factory sounds installation there are exe files, so I dunno wich one I should choose, iam on OSx and iam coming from windows

 

the only software as .exe files you will ever use on Mac are keygens. You can use Crossover to run them. If you have Keyscape related files (other then the keygen), then you have the wrong files. It should be compressed and in an archive, like with a .rar file, or 7zip. You can use Keka to extract them, it's like Winrar. The files inside may be iso format (.bin and .cue files), but they are more likely to be formats such as .dmg, .pkg, mpkg. once you have extracted the archive.

Of course their file is not just 2 clicks and you are done. It has to build your Steam folder, and then place all the sound source files in there.

You get the 70 gig factory content, the original installer that goes with it, and you can skip all the update versions and then just install the most current updates. Probably from Moria. They will contain everything you need to have the product the same as if someone was updating it all along.

My omnisphere is a legit copy, and so i have not added things like Trilian or Keyscape to it. But all four major Spectrasonics software titles are not easy installs at all. The instructions should be inside an .nfo file or a text file. Plenty of people screw up installing these. Hell, when I first installed Omnisphere it did something that actually caused the one and onlly OS re-installation I have ever done to it. And it takes a very long time. Do a search on here for "spectrasonics", "omnisphere", keyscape, and you will see what I mean. There are many threads with people asking for all sorts of help with installing it. You can't break anything if/when you screw up installing them; but it is just a very time consuming installation and a lot of people screw it up.
