Hey, first post here and I've been having a problem with my keyboard not working in the piano roll. I've looked at hundreds of videos and other forums and get the same two answers. "have you tried clicking the piano button at the top?" or "try bridging your plugins" I have noticed that my keys are i guess i could say bound to certain functions in the piano roll. Does anyone know how to undo said "binds" and to return to using my keyboard as a midi controller? Any help is appreciated :)

    Hi and welcome ,
ok where the play tab is in fl you will see the keyboard icon there,
there is a arrow too the right of it and a what looks like a foot under it.
click on the keyboard icon and make sure its on,
Next when you want to play ,in the channel rack just after the kick, clap, hat ect is a little box
its just before the step boxes ,load in a plugin and click on the box this will set the input from your keyboard
or midi to play that channel,
you can change the channel or input again by clicking on any of the boxes
    after any plugins or sample.

I don't use FL... and I made the same assumption....

solution: change DAWs, I suggest Ableton

Where is Steve Faoki? He was the true master of the piano roll.

the @LEGEND does appear to be no more..

I gave you too much credit then? I didn't even see the section.. but pretty well aware
that "piano roll" is FL related lingo... pardon me for finding your comment amusing
due to widespread obviousness and @David-93 's question
