Clipping with oversampling is better than just clipping. Oversampling gives less aliasing. So, this kind of clipping is more "analogue", less "digital"...Cleaner...

 

KClip is great but I often reach for Fab's Pro L instead. Obviously they are two different things (clipper vs. limiter) but I am using them for the same purpose (loudness). Been thinking about trying to use them together though. Maybe they compliment each other.

 

can be used instead of limiter. loud and clean. on their site there are spectrums with comparison of some best top-notch limiters/maximizers/clipper, so they give some aliasing, this KClip gives much less this digital dirt.

 

Agree! I bought it a while ago and keep using it on the master bus since, right before the limiter. Good clipper.
