katfile popups

    lately when i click on the download button on katfile i have to go through the process about 6 times.
    each time i click it a porn page loads.
    this has only started in last few weeks
    any way of stopping the page opening?

    Haven't had any popups with uBlock Origin so far, just that I have to click twice on "Download".

    You absolutely need an ad blocker for your internet browser. uBlock Origin is a low-resource ad blocker. Adblock Plus is also good.

    Yup, you definitely need that!

    Strange: sometimes I have to click twice and sometimes not. I have no clue why and when.

    if you use Jdownloader with a debrid account loaded into it, you do not even have to visit these sites. The only one that has never tried to slam me with ads, "helper" programs, looping through junk popup pages, is rapidgator. It always has that 90's nostalgia to it. But I guess you guys do not have a exploitable Active X controls anymore, so there is at least that.

    What happens if you use Jdownloader without a debrid account? Won't it still follow the links right from the peeplink page?
