I downloaded it from Audioz and after downloading and opening the package i get this message:"
The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.installer.pagecontroller error -1.)"

I asked from PiRAT to reupload it and another member helped me to find Karma Fx 1.18 for mac on the web but it has the same issue after opening the pkg.
Any idea what to do?

I hope one of the Teams will release ver 2 soon.

 

try right-click -> open, this works on most unknown developers

if that doesnt work, download batchmod, open it. drag the installer into the window, check unlock and clear xattrs, and dont forget to check apply to enclosed

I did this:

you must unpack pkg file with keka manually and place unpacked files to destination folders.

 

How do i know the destination folders?

I just finished my work, now I need some food and after that you will receive all information you need.

 

ok, let's do it =)

1. you need two new folders: for temp files (I called it temp) and for files (Icalled it files)
2. unpack downloaded rar and find packed pkg.zip archive (I use 64 bit installer) and unzip pkg file to any folder
3. open keka.app, drag and drop unziped pkg file to keka main window (note: now and all next times you must drop files to unpack label) and choose temp folder for unpacked files from all pkg files (don't close keka window)
4. after unpacking open temp folder, then open new folder with unpacked files

now you must unpack each pkg file, follow instructions and all will be fine! =)

6. find file karmafxSynthFx.pkg, drag and drop it to keka window (don't forget about note) and choose temp folder (just close popup window with error message), drag and drop unpacked file Payload~ to keka window, but now choose folder for files, after unpacking delete Payload~ file
7. find file karmafxSynth.pkg, drag and drop it to keka window and choose temp folder (close popup window with error message), drag and drop unpacked file Payload~ to keka window, but now choose folder for files, after unpacking delete Payload~ file
8. now you have 2 plugin files (component) - you can copy them to destination folder /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components

now you must create folder forr other files, open /Library/Application Support and create folder KarmaFX, inside this folder create new folder KarmaFX Synth

9. now unpack next (only these!) pkg files :
- waveformsinstall.pkg
- skinsinstall.pkg
- presetsinstall.pkg
- manual.pkg
- extraUserPatches.pkg

right as previous pkg files with components (unpack pkg to temp folder, unpack Payload~ to folder for files, delete Payload~ file, etc.)

next instructions with some differents in actions, just follow these instructions =)

10. find file patchesinstall.pkg, drag and drop it to keka window and choose temp folder (close popup window with error message), drag and drop unpacked file Payload~ to keka window, BUT! choose temp folder again (!!!), after unpacking you must copy:
- all folders from temp folder/Patches to folder for files/Patches
- file KarmaFX Synth.ini from temp folder to folder for files

then delete unpacked folder Patches, KarmaFX Synth.ini anndKarmaFX Synth.ini Payload~ files from temp folder

11. find last file karmafxSynthCore.pkg, drag and drop it to keka window, BUT! choose folder for files (!!!)

12. now copy these files/folders:
- KarmaFX Synth Modular.pdf
- KarmaFX Synth.ini
- KarmaFX Synth Core.framework
- Presets
- Patches
- Skins
- Waveforms

from folder for files to /Library/Application Support/KarmaFX/KarmaFX Synth

13. now run terminal app and type:

cd /Library/Application\ Support/

press enter button

then:

chmod -v -R 777 KarmaFX

press enter button
close terminal

that's all!

 

I installed the pkg files from Pacifist beside the KarmafxSynthCore.pkg .
KarmafxSynthCore.pkg i extracted with keka and placed it in /Library/Application Support/KarmaFX/KarmaFX Synth
In the terminal i placed the first code but st the sec code i got : "Operation nit permitted" and long list of files.
I opened Ableton live 10.1 and it's crashing.
