As far as I understand this was the absolute last version that would work on XP SP2.

I would be eternally grateful if someone could send me this specific update as it no longer exists on the internet. I distinctly remember installing this exact version and it working on XP SP2 back then. The weird thing is, Codec Guide claims 10.0.5 is the last version that works on SP2 and newer versions require SP3. But! They forgot to include the updates! I myself almost forgot about them. The ''lost update versions'' in between 10.0.5-10.1.0 (10.0.6/10.0.7 etc..) do actually work on SP2 (obviously the best service pack). The way back machine did not save a working link so if anyone might have saved it and can help please do. thanks!! I'm trying to get my XP computer back to the way it was back then.

Thanks, but I'm looking for a specific version. The oldest version on there appears to be from 2015 which is not going to work on my leet xp sp2 computer. I cannot be the ultimate xp sp2 bada$$ without 10.0.7 (lol but true!).

If no one has the update, does anyone know where I could find these two items? all the update was is a (beta) version of mpc-hc and lav filters.

You beat me to it. It's the more official site for K-Lite that exists, so it was relatively simple. Always in my bookmarks.

 

This is actually only partially true though. Like I said the lost 10.0.6 and 10.0.7 updates (in between 10.1.0) also work on XP SP2. I know this because I remember it working perfectly back in 2013. The problem is they have vanished from the internet and I didn't save a copy.

yeah. i'm not brave enough to open it lol. i'll try their forum. for now i'll just have to live with September 12, 2013 (10.0.5) as opposed to September 27, 2013 (10.0.7). 9/27/2013 update is the true last update for sp2 which surprisingly even the developer forgot to include at codec guide.
