I have to say that, to be honest, I listened Bieber's single on the radio several times while leeching WIFI in a cooffee and I thought that was a very good song.

Obviously, youth oriented, but very good. And I didn't know who sang. In fact, I thought Bieber was still in problems/rehabilitation.

Another _completely_ separate thing is who compose his songs. In these days, and here we know it better than the most, with a good song and a decent vocalist you've the deal. The rest is up to the studio.
