Yes, I (and probably most people) agree with that. But what makes a "wrong" note is more subjective then you will admit. (Interesting, the king of subjectivity holds one thing only to an objective standard and it's the one thing that isn't: art, or in this case, notes. The irony.)

Thanks for the appreciation, it is the best thing for an artist to know that your work touches the soul of people!

This piece is an arrangement from an album for Piano I published back in 2019 which is inspired by an Italian book (unfortunately has not been translated)

    Why I rearranged and recorded?
Well, in my mind this piece was always written for these instruments, but the first version was piano solo.

Now I am part of the Online Graduate Diploma in Film & Game Scoring
    https://www.eafa.iamu.edu/filmscoringacademyofeurope/online-graduate-diploma-film-and-game-scoring

and part of this program is the recording of music starting from piano solo to full orchestra.

So I jumped on the occasion and recorded this piece, which sounded even better it was in my mind :D

    Thank you!
One funny thing of this piece is that entire first minute I got it in a dream... so I woke up in the morning and recorded with my voice, and then the rest came along...

Indeed, he did a good job
the fewer notes in the piece, the harder to make a great performance

You are labelled as a guest? What you have said makes sense with composer-decided wrong notes. Unfortunately, that does not take into account people like Stravinsky, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, John Cage, Satie and a multitude of now acknowledged great composers who were the subject of criticism from people who said what they wrote bad wrong notes. There is only one reason to fix a note and that is if it was not the note the composer intended.

If the composer intended the notes to be there, even if some people were lacking the ability or desire to try and understand what they were attempting, and thought notes were wrong, does this justify changing them? of course it does not unless the composer is wanting commercial release, and wants to change it.

The only justifiable reason to make every note diatonically correct is in three chord nowhere pop music for the masses. In art, there are no boundaries and a true artist in any art field knows this.

@Marco Di Stefano - wonderful original approaches to composition, I thoroughly enjoyed your creativity.
P.S. I especially enjoyed your use of close voicings and the subtleties in Il talento de Elena

Don't waste your time mate he's not here anymore, thankfully. He's probably under another nick by now, getting ready for the next "mountain troll" attack haha. Probably waiting for the right topic. Perhaps if we ignite a spark with a jazz theme (Foster's everlasting hate), he will magically re-appear.
Which reminds me to go back to listening the OP's work once again. We rarely hear this kind of work here. Props.
    Cheers

Agreed. All anyone needs to appreciate it is an ability to enjoy creative music. It's a great surprise and a pleasant one at that.

Thanks for listening to my album!
Il Talento di Elena is a very special piece in that album, it describes the emotional fight of the creativity of the character of the book

Hello there, Marco Di Stefano, congratulations on such an efficient result. Your piano compositions are very expressive and affordable! The Last Time of Everything is a beautiful piece. I think it would be great if, in a future opportunity, you created a version for a string orchestra (including) harp, in the style of Mahler's Adagio (not to compare, as the character is different: 'reservedly', the Adagio has denser harmony and a slower tempo), but it would be an opportunity to translate the expressiveness of your music to the section most capable of conveying an extensive range of emotion in the orchestra.

As for Walking Back Home, yes, it’s indeed very minimalist, simple, and beautiful (it's straight to the point). I notice that you always aim to express beauty in your compositions, whether it’s the beauty of late Romanticism or the beauty of minimalism... Do you also compose using other musical moods? I ask because, for work in the multimedia world, it’s very important to master as many moods as possible.

Once again, congratulations on your expressiveness and the opportunity to record your own music. I wish you all the best and hope success knocks on your door as soon as possible.

Also depends on which "music world" this person is talking about. A vague and imprecise critique like this seems like something from a certain troll who loves posting things about working with note choices...
