I'm hungry for nice cupcakes and resting on fun bags. Who cares about the originality anymore? :bleh:

A fun fact about TRIP HOP. I don't say it::bleh:

The British music press really only call it this. Everywhere else it's just seen as another welcome addition to the post-hip hop, downtempo breakbeat movement. Everything ambienty and jazzy included. Only this is reeeeeeeaaaaaalllly slooooooooooowww, with female vocals that don't sing insomuch as they just droll around like they quaffed too many quaaludes. Bristol seems to churn out artists the way Seattle churns out grunge bands. I don't find it as fun as the others, though. Leave it to the brits to dullify yet another promising strain of music.

    Trip Hop you say.

Bit more leftfield. Not trip Hop.

Thank you. TBH I'm a big fan of slow musics too. All the honor goes to the people with good aptitude and prowess doing things with flare not originators. I posted this track once but do it again. It rocks. Not electronic but superb:

Jazzers would never understand the beauty of this repetition (don't let them destroy your aesthetic appeal, appreciation, pleasure, response, and sense).

Allegedly terror groups in the 70s would force abductees to listen to Motorhead or Zepellin at loud volumes repeatedly as a method of torture. Lucky for them it was the 70s lol.
Imagine the agony of having to listen to this bad 8bit Kraftwerk-esque track repeatedly

Now jokes aside, if you want a good Nick Dow track, that was probably his worst, and nothing close to this for instance (same album)
