What are you thoughts on this Mockery of a Lead Guitarist on the EVH Frankenstein.

Is it just me or does he sound like the worst guitarist in history to play with an accomplished Musician such as Jon Batiste. I swear I could have dropped the guitar on the floor and sounded better than that.
There are some many good guitarist out in the world and how oh how could anyone at the recorded label release that solo onto the radio?
