they dont even know him ! .... except for french exiled in US.
His "huge" voice during his 80s period was a scam (a guy was needed onstage to help the cocaine addict).
So, the guy had no real voice, raped one of his wife when she was 15, never wrote a song in his entire life and he's a genius ? .... yeah right

 

It's not for you, or any other obscure slanderer, to decide who Johnny Hallyday was or what vocal qualities he had.
You don't even remotely have any idea about vocal technique, otherwise you wouldn't say such a nonsense.
The only one singer that had this vocal quality was Ronnie James Dio. Professional belcanto singers know what it's all about.
Do this world a favour and go to work. Maybe you'll sometime achieve something in your life, develop some self esteem and will not feel the need to throw mud to be noticed. Your presence here is not welcome. Go spit on your family's grave, not on someone else's. End of discussion.

Hey @yabiss .. after a lifetime of being called the "French Elvis" I hoped to offset and so negating something that I dislike to no end, that which is being a unique and wonderful artist in your own right but still being continually compared to someone else, usually repeated ad nauseam by stupid, uncreative people who just follow a trend unconsciously. It was just my way of complimenting the man. It of course not even actually close to the truth and imagined anyone would realize that...guess I was wrong.
