    Hi Audio Sex Professionals!
This is my very first official post on this forum.
    Quite exciting, I must admit.

Recently, I did my first remix for a song of Nine Inch Nails (Hurt)
    covered by Johnny Cash. "Hurt".

    Have a listen at » http://www.yordiscedo.com
Feel free to give any feedback.

(my next tune will be a remix of Andrea Bocelli, stay tuned)

Hey YRDSCD welcome to the forum,
i really dig the song, i think it was done well, remixing isnt easy (at least never has been for me lol)

the beginning felt a bit to fast, the song is a very emotional one and having it sped up took away from that,
though when the first set of drums came in it had that taking a step forword *glitch* back in reverse feeling (if you know what i mean)and it felt perfect.
also the change up felt a little out of place to me,

    anyways keep making beats! peace

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it.
What do you mean by "the change up felt a little out of place"? What part of the song do you mean?
I can feel with the "emotional" part. Still, it's fun to take the song out of it's context sometimes.

    Thanks for listening!
    Greetings,
    Yordi

    Not a problem man,

at 2.50 - 3.40 then after 3.40 it comes back to what you started in the beginning the semi sad emotional feeling, the slow but fast, i hope that makes sense

I quite enjoyed the tune, and really didn't mind the change of speed. Refreshing take on a brilliant tune.

@sounderror. Thanks once again for replying. I understand what you mean!
@overlappingcircles. Thanks for enjoying the tune :—)

General: it's one of my first remixes I ever did.
I'm still in a state of pushing myself further on mixing,
mastering & synths. Curiosity. Stay tuned for the next one!

    Well hello there!
Anyone else some feedback on the remix?

Does someone know some nice blogs for remixes/mashups?
I'm really getting into this thing.

    Thanks!
