Mixer Jaycen Joshua released the beta version of his new plugin "God Particle" on 4/4 to his inner circle of mixer friends. I would guess the plugin is something similar to his Ozone4 mixing preset that got a bunch of hype.

Any ideas what software company developed it based on this picture?

Just a cash grab. I suppose being around Pensado (which is a walking ad) for some long fucks one's integrity.

I remember that John Hanes said that together with Serban Ghenea were aproached for a signature plugin and their answer was that the market is not missing any plugin worthwhile of a signature release. This coming from the best pop music mixer on the planet.

 

Since god is vaporware, I would assume this plug-in is, too.

He's actually a very good mixer, the way he mixes the low end is second to none. His kicks have a special oompf that made me recognize him while randomly listening to music, without knowing he was on the track. While playing with a lot of tools, trying te recreate his signature sound, I figured out that it was a combination of leaving as much space as possible in the low end for the kick and the bass, and playing with crossovers/allpass filters to get the kick some extra body. So I was hoping it was going to be a plugin that would make it easy to delay some specific frequencies in the low end to get that sound, but I can't care less about another fucking signature mastering chain.

I think he needs more emojis in his marketing garble. Its almost comprehensible.

 

thats super humbe of serban. the "god" particle, as an antitheist, i cannot use. also, i should release a plugin called "the serban sound" what would be a clever name for it

I have an old ozone4 and I know all the settings of the presets he released. But his sound can only be implemented in ozone4 so I wonder how close this plugin will be to that.

 

They claimed to have finally observed one just recently in Science news. It's a plugin, right?

 

Although he is a mixer for many hits, he also has many failures. Yes on pop smoke's first album. I don't like his complicated bus processing. Sometimes it brings too many changes to the track.

 

Slick EQ GE has you covered for that specific sort of low frequency processing.

 

Looks like an OTT (Ableton multiband comp) clone to me. I freaking hate the sound of it.
