    Hello guys,

I tried to connect my headphones (3.5 jack) using a 6.35 adaptator on my audio interface.
But it doesn't work ( only if I don't plug fully the jack)

My headphones 3.5 jack has 4 poles , because the built-in mic. but the 6.35 adaptator has 3 poles.
I tried to find on amazon 4 poles but I can't.

Do you think I can find 6.35 4 poles adaptator ?
and if yes, do you think my mic will be recognized by the audio interface ? (RigKontrol 2 )

    thanks

you need TRRS to TRS adapter. TRRS is "4 pole". It has to match.

Either an adapter that shorts mic with ground (TRRS female <-> TRS male) or an adapter that converts between CTIA and OMTP (TRRS <-> TRRS) or a headset splitter (TRRS female <-> 2x TRS male).

No, there are only a few interfaces with support for this kind of mics (< 10 V), like the Yamaha AG series.
