So I downloaded and installed Izotope RX 12 on my Mac unaware that it wasn't compatible with my outdated Mac OS and now Logic Pro won't get through a scan of the plugins without freezing I got rid of the "Izotope Application" does anyone know how to uninstall the software ?
Currently running Monterey 12.4 and Logic Pro 10.7.9
Getting a message in Logic that says "Can't get Core Function Pointer" then it crashes

Logic only loads the AU versions of plugins. Move them from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components to anywhere else so that Logic cannot see them. See if you can use the standalone RX app. If you can, you can set Logic to use RX as your wave editor. That lets you have the waveform from Logic loaded into RX full, where you can fix it, save it, and Logic should reload it. Then you can just delete the plugins and use the app, with all the features available instead of the RX plugin versions. It's a good way of using much more of your CPU resources since Logic is not playing your project and everything inside it. Cleaning up stuff in RX is rarely context dependent like how mixing plugins should be used.

I'm on 12, but here is 10.7 info from GPT
In Logic 10.7, you can set RX as the external waveform editor like this:

    1. Open Logic Pro → Preferences → Audio
    2. Click the File Editor tab (called Audio File Editor in some older documentation).
    3. Next to External Sample Editor, click Choose.
    4. Navigate to:

      /Applications/iZotope RX Audio Editor.app

      and select it.

    5. Close Preferences.
    Once configured:

    • Select an audio region.
    • Press Shift+W (or use Edit → Open in iZotope RX Audio Editor).
    • Logic opens the underlying audio file in RX.
    • Make your repairs (de-click, spectral repair, hum removal, etc.).
    • In RX, choose Overwrite Original File.
    • Return to Logic and the waveform updates automatically.
    A couple of gotchas:

    • This only works with actual audio files. Apple Loops, Flex-edited regions, or certain temporary/non-destructive audio objects often need to be Bounce in Place first before Logic will allow external editing.
    • The edit is destructive. RX is modifying the source file on disk, not creating a plugin-style undoable process. Make backups if the material is important.

Hey thx for responding, so they don't show in the "Library/Audio/Plugin/Components" folder at all. Tried searching for any sign of them in Library, can't seem to find anything related to them. If its any help I downloaded the file from the MORiA on the sister site.

I use WideBlue Audio Plugin Uninstaller. It can leave some small remnants, and to find those I usually just use Find Any File application.
