Hi ppl,

it's my first time here and i'm looking for some help. hopefully i can get some support from who may have the techs to solve the issues.

okay, i have most of the Izotope products and I've tried them out, everything seems to be okay. recently i tried to open a project involved with Izotope Nectar v2 and suddenly i got this error, saying that this Nectar has an error and couldn't load. so I tried to reinstall the VST and it wouldn't launch at all. I tried other Izotope products and found out RX3 and RX4 also couldn't launch or load as VST plugin.

Recently, yes i did install some games, in fact i just got my new rig for my freelance work, and since that this rig was recommended from the custom pc expert tech, it has a very good graphic card and i was tempted to play some good high graphic games. i knew installing cracked games would affect the programs and VSTs but i don't think it would affect so seriously until its on both Rx's and Nectar.

i did check on dates when i install the games, when was the last time i used the DAW to open my projects and Izotope able to launch and load, i have a little idea what causing it. it'll be a hassle to reinstall the whole OS process again to set things right but... any other solution would be great if i don't have to reinstall everything i have on my new rig.

i mean, was it something to do with microsoft visual c++? do i need to come up a dump on the izotope (which i'm not very sure what dump means, could've meant something like error checking and list out whatever installed components and see if there are any modifications and missing files) or anything that could layout to find out the issues causing izotope plugin error?

i've tried google and nothing comes up even from the first line. it seems nobody is having the problem like me. sounds like a special case right?

in case you want to know my rig spec, here you go...

CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231v3
MOBO: Asrock B85M-HDS
RAM: GSKILL Aegis F3-1600C11S-8GIS x2
GPU: Leadtek GTX960 2GB D5 Reference

Those are the only VSTs that aren't working? How about when you open RX as a stand alone?
Did you make sure any remnants of the plugins were gone before reinstalling?
I'm not that deep in to Win anymore, my knowledge basically stops at: System Restore and CC Cleaner.. But you tried those?

 

I've tried ccleaber and reinstall both plugins, tried standalone also can't load. I think I'll have to reinstall whole OS again to make sure I can use these plugins again. It's kinda weird only these 2 plugins can't load.

Also long, I've tried Revo Uninstaller to thoroughly clean whatever nectar and rx remnants, still won't work. It's too late to get system restore because it's been several days later when I noticed something like that happened. Illustrator try install OS, DAW and the rest of the plugins, check all workable, and then back up the whole thing before I install anything else especially games.

I think this is the only solution so I guess I'll go for it.

 

I've reinstalled OS and tried out bothering RX3, RX4 and Nectar... All working condition. Illustrator be careful not to simply install cracked games into my rig...

Now I found out the major culprit... It was D3DGear, Game video screen recorder. I was in progress to reinstall programs and each programs or games I install, I will test both nectar and rx plugins, this time with D3DGear installed, these 2 plugins couldn't launch and shows error and send report.

I thought it was a good programs to capture games, Now that I had to use Bandicam as alternative.

I've done system restore and back to normal.
