    Hi!

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to use the "plug-in" utility module in RX 6.

This is for using 3rd party VST or AU plugins inside the standalone app.

RX seems to find the AU and VST folders and all the names show up, however they are still marked [unscanned] and I can not pick them in the plug-in module window.

So if anyone has figured this out please tell me!!

its because you are blocking it from access to internet when it scans

Thanks alot for your answer fariel23!! :)

Do you think it is safe to turn on internet while doing the scan or is there a risk that RX or 3rd party plugins call home?

Why would you need internet access to scan local plugins?

Have u tried disabling the AU plugs and let RX scan only VST? And disable any anti virus/firewall program you might have active as well
I am on Windows 7 64 bit and never had issues with RX detecting most of my plugins...

Ok so if I disable my firewall most plugins are scanned, but still not all plugins.

This is good enough for me at this point, thanks for all your help!
