    https://www.izotope.com/en/products/mix/neutron.html

Optimization, new user interface, and a new module they call Scupltor, which appears to be a sort of macro controlled set of EQs/compressors. Some small improvements to the eq section and anti-masking feature.

    Intro pricing is:
    Elements - $99
    Standard - $199
    Advanced - $299

Upgrdage from N2 advanced to N3 advanced is $149. Seems to me that's $149 per new feature but what do I know

It's clear why they were offering Neutron 2 to less than half the regular price to Neutron users, last month.

    I CAN'T BELIEVE IT

Neutron 2's mix assistant was so hit and miss so I'm interested to see if 3 is more accurate (Obviously it's doesn't just mix it all for you but some of it's suggestions were outrageous lol)

Really hope this can build from version 2, mix assistant always reccomended eq, an exiter and 2 compressors on nearly everything I ran it through...Or maybe I'm just really shite at mixing...The fact I'm looking forward to this probably suggests yes

I'm busy on a track "developed" without iZotope stuff.
    I'll test it during finalization.
    Be patience.

That's good progress. However, I think most mixers do not need balance assistance since it depends somehow on the taste. What we all need with the help of machine learning is boring automation tasks. Like boring EQ automation for removing damn resonance or anything which leads to time consuming automation for fixing audio. That's exactly where we need machine learning. Nobody likes to spend hours on automating bands for vocal fixing. After the fix is done, I think we don't need machine learning in that stage, since music is art and it needs human soul and focus to do the rest. So machine learning for what? F$ckin' boring tasks!

@xbitz and @devilorcracker I thought so many times this sentiment comes up in the public sphere, you all will surely understand that this is sarcasm.

100% with you on the resonance part, unwanted resonant frequencies are my achilles.

Another chance for bedroom producers who have little knowledge in audio to ruin their mixes. lol

I too actually like the assistant in Nectar 3, it seems to work well for Rap/R&B vocals with a little tweaking afterwards.

A few minutes ago I officially bought the Music Production Bundle 2.1. There was a pretty big discount for owning any Izotope product, (I got Neutron Elements for free from Plugin Boutique).. plus a pop up gave me and additional 5% off. Ive been using a pirated copy of Ozone 8 for a year now, so It feels good to finally go ahead and pay for it. Plus I finally get to use it in Pro Tools Sessions on Mac. Along with my recent purchases of Soothe, and Gullfoss Im also officially broke, but liberated at the same time.

For me, the time taken to set everything up could be used more efficiently inserting tracks & going for a quick rough mix manually.

Doing this with various types of music will greatly improve your ability to hear & recognize what is needed to balance a rough mix without plugins.

Tried the balance assistant in Reaper 5 with the vocal track as the 'Focus'. Opened each relay & found the level @ 0db for every last one.

CPU on my old test laptop was @ 52% & straining. Performance meter showed sustain spikes @ 82%.
When the GUI was switch off, the sustained spikes dropped to just over 50%.

Don't understand why iZotope & others code software for high GPU usage. The idea is to process audio, not graphics...
