Does R2R suck in this release

Maybe you should try reading the release thread, I'm sure that there is a detailed answer there. And stop using CAPS in your titles, everyone's important here.

 

As far as i remember it's always an offline auth... also if your use it online (internet connection) you still have an issue anyway anytime ;) so........

 

i think the people who had problems with the plgins didn t follow the instructions correctly.
one thing is not mentioned in the instructions though:before doing anything u have to download the ilok drivers,after u do it,simply install your izotope plugins and copy and paste the win32 and win64 folders in the same directory where the original ones r located.then open your host and run each application,u ll be asked to authorize,simply click on authorize.done

 

This must be really urgent, complaining about stolen software and not be able to read.

What is supposed to read? No "iLok" word appeared in R2R.txt!

 

Install and then run the auth keys in the R2R folder, job done, enjoy. Remember to buy the stuff if you use it

Also, if you read the thread instead of blindly dl'ing the program, you would've read where they inform people whom are having problems to make sure that they've dl'ed and installed iLok, even providing the link!

 

yesterday, i posted step by step instructions on how to get the iZotope plugins authorized. i didn't take into account that you have to install iLok drivers. after you install the iLok drivers, just do this:

1- install the plugin, of course
2- in the folder you installed it in, you should see another folder that says win32/win64. depending on your OS, go into that folder & you'll see 'auth assistant' in it.
3- replace THAT one with the 'auth assistant' that R2R included.
4- open your DAW & load the plugin. click on the 'auth assistant' from R2R that you just put in the win32/64 folder. you should see a cmd screen pop up with R2R info.
5- while the auth assistant is running, press 'authorize' in the plugin popup window.

it should work if you do this verbatim.
