Izotope installation issues

    Hi everyone,

    I'm facing errors while trying to either download things off the Izotope Product Portal or through the .exe installers. When I click install on the Product Portal (mind you, I even authorized these programs), I am immediately faced with "well this is awkward. This did not fully download". Capture.PNG

    When I try to install with the standalone installers (even though Ozone worked just fine??) I am faced with "error writing into documents. The program will quit". FUCK.PNG

    I have tried fixing the issue but I have no clue what to do. Izotope hasn't written back to me. No threads have my issue.

    Over this time, I have done the following to fix the issue:
    • Rebooted computer
    • Run both PP and installers with Admin mode
    • Uninstalled/reinstalled Product Portal
    • Turned off antivirus and OneDrive (I don't even have OneDrive in my version of Windows)
    • Authorized programs on account
    • Checked permissions on Documents file
    Can someone help a fella out?

    I can't find info on the first one either (i find results for "this is awkward" message relating to serial number but not for "Your product did not fully download".

    For the "Error writing files to Documents directory" since you checked permissions, I assume you mean on the documents 'folder". (You wrote "file".)
    I would double check that and go through the process of adding the user "Everyone" and set to allow all permissions.

    are you sure? your windows is the official installation? or was installed with diy "light build" / "clean edition" etc?

    what is your username in your OS?

    btw, you can download product installers you want to install from izotope website.

    The person who gave me the PC installed WIndows 10 LTSC. Neat stuff. But yes, I have figured it out.

    Would you care to write what you did to fix it?
    If you do, then you could change the title to "Izotope installation issues Win10LTSC [Solved]" and others can benefit from what you know...

    How did you fix the issue because i have the same problem and its been seriously driving me to insanity. Please Please Please help me fix!
