    so after about 8 years.. and much ado with griping..and firings.. and "creative differences"

    we're about to find out what all the hoopla was about... so what do you think it will be
    self serving mega rock star wank fest... ? or scintillating journey into rock history ?

    Rami Malek is great, but Sacha Baron Cohen was a much better fit for the role :sad:

    Well I hope its a scintillating trip into Rock History...

    I like Rami Malek from Mr Robot...

    And Queen... Cant really put into words what they mean to me...

    thanks for weighing in guys.. :yes:

    I have seen interviews... with Cohen.. and members of Queen.. Cohen might have made the "Mercury" character larger than life
    which he was in a way... but the rest of the "Queens" have egos too.. so ? :dunno:

    I get the impression tho.. that Cohen wanted to do a control freak routine on them..and run the show..
    they just weren't down with it... and I can't disagree.. it's their project..

    as well Cohen has lately been doing a good job of disappointing a fair number of people in Hollywood

    Looks rather cheap. All band members, except Freddie, look like a cardboard character.
    A movie like this deserves A list actors.
    I could be wrong though.
    i agree with Saint, Cohen would have been perfect.

    Im gonna watch Godzilla now.

    based on the trailer I don't have high hopes either... could just be a self indulgent spectacle..
    and the "group" does look like cut outs on first glance .. but not easy to emulate someone known so well...

    can only hope the story is told with some integrity
