Wow, I'm italian but I see here a collection of the worst songs ever heard, some songs that I didn't even know.
Ok, the italian pop-rock-prog scene is really poor but there is something better in my opinion.

In maybe in like 1985 when I lived in Ridgewood, Queens which is/was an Italian neighborhood, I was on my own one Friday night and decided to eat out at a restaurant. There was this place on the Myrtle Avenue that I had passed a bunch of times and I decided to give it a try. I entered the street entrance but instead of stepping into what I thought would be the dining room was a narrow flight of red carpeted stairs. When I reached the top there was an opened door on the right. What I saw was in actuality somebody's living room with a few small square tables with red checkerboard tablecloths and a single white burning candle on each. There were a few people already eating and a moment later a teeny tiny old Italian woman, her salt and pepper hair in a bun atop her head seated me. A few minutes later after filling my glass she took my order, and as I was waiting for my food a young fellow who seemed about 20 years old and wearing a tuxedo that was a bit too big on him stood in front of an old console stereo. He opened the lid to access the turntable and put the needle down, picked up the microphone that was connected to a small Peavey guitar amp and as the music began he started singing along with the record. I at first a little confused, but a few moments later understood that he was the entertainment that evening and I chuckled inwardly but couldn't stop myself from a big old goofy smile because...it was totally a goofy thing that I was witnessing. When I was leaving I put a five dollar bill in the brandy glass that was on the left side of the consoling told him how much I appreciated his performance and asked him what album he was singing with. This was the one and which I've not forgotten till this day!
