I'd really love to hear some critics or feedback from the friends of this forum. Much acustics but also lots of samples....

Thanks for comments, this is the 1st track, the most "traditional" one regarding the style. Time by time, when the CD will be released i will keep posting other tracks of the project that will span from music boxes & Lullabies to funeral marches and circus music...

I enjoyed this very much. Can you go into detail on how you went about creating this? I want to make music like this but sample libraries sound to 'perfect'. What was your process to get it to sound less like studio and more real?

That was such a fun song to listen to. Even though I don't speak or understand Italian that was still a very playful song and is absolutely beautiful. Very good production as well. Although I think overall I think it could benefit from some light compression and tightening up of the sub bass.

    1) Put a low cut, 24dB/octave or 48dB/octave (play around and see which one sounds better). Keep cutting until you hear the tone of the bass change. Then pull it back so that you don't really hear the low cut. Instead it's just cleaning up those subs that are making the track sound heavy rather than light and airy like I felt it was meant to be.

    2) Some very light master compression. 2/1 ratio, attack time of 15-25ms, auto release if you have it, soft knee, pull the threshold down till you get around 2dB of gain reduction. It should make the track flow a little bit more because at the moment it find kind of aggressive to my ears. This will help calm it down a bit

    3) Love the deep voice..but it's disappearing under the other intruments. Remove some of the very low sub bass, up to 50hz perhaps (play around with this). The voice also needs some compression to keep in the front of the mix. Try a 3 or 4/1 ratio, attack time 5-10ms, release of 60-100 or more maybe depends if you want some pumping (which might sound cool actually), hard/medium knee, pull the threshold down until the voice evens out, maybe 4-5 dB's of gain reduction. Again, play around with these settings but they should be pretty close.

Other than those comments I think it's a really nice track!
