Had an issue installing NI Battery + the library (got it from RUTracker) because the folder with the library isn't an ISO - it's just a folder. And I tried turning it into an ISO, but that doesn't work and tells me to install from the original disk. I also don't see an NI_REG exe thing. Can someone help me out? My bandwidth is limited and it would suck to have to download this again!

doubtful you will get help with an obscure problem with a "release" of questionable origin.

the whole thing should be like 2.5 gb or so. re-downloading will probably save you time in the long run.

thats why i do not download from RUtracker, they repack stuff and sometimes remove stuff they think, could be not useful.

better get the original R2R release with everything.

And it looks like the R2R packages are both available on Sister Site as well, but i don't see them in RT...
Wait ... Yes i think so but the title is:
    "Native Instruments - Battery 4.1.6 STANDALONE, VSTi, AAX x86 x64 + Factory Library 1.1.0 [09.2017]"
& there are comments leading to the usual "add to hosts..." & "disable antivirus..." tips.

That's a tough one on account of the age but I'm looking into it for you. Give me a little time to see if I can help.

You can put the Battery library folder anywhere you want, and set the path to it in the Battery options.

Then you make a "User Kits" folder within it if Battery doesn't make it itself [I can't remember], and that's where you to save your imported and assembled kits by yourself to. It can look nicely organised in the end, and all the kits will be easily available through a preset browser in Battery. I generally use my own kits assembled from various sources. I'm not too fond of NI factory kits...

Necro warning. You can put anything anywhere, and then point to it in the data manager section of Battery.
