is ueberschall elastik time stretch better than live 9?

Is it better to export time stretch modified loops from elastik

    or

just export the whole wav bank from the elastik soundbank menu and let Live 9 do the time stretching?

Anyone had any good bad experience with using both

    Cheers

If you are using Elastik as VSTi with a DAW it will sync to the tempo and so it stretches for you.

Well I have a lot of experience time stretching in live but I haven't used elastik. but an easy way to test which is better would to be to take one sample and stretch it equal amounts in live and in elastik and listen to which produced less audible artifacts.

    Cheers for the replies.

I was going to muck about testing.

    But it depends on:
    The sample type
    Lives time stretch mode
    The amount of stretch

I'm going to stick to lives stretch for now I think.

I just wanted to see if anyone had had any experience of both.

    :)
