I've never really explored Elastik and just wondering if there's anything I'm missing with it?

I'd mainly be looking at the orchestral, scoring, atmospheric, and FX type of libraries for it, and just wondering if any of them are any good?!

Over a decade ago I tried it. I wanted to use it in an orchestral soundtrack for a computer game. It turned to be absolutely useless.

  5. There was a time, years back, that people had some respect for Ueberschall. I don't know if they were ever 'top of the game', but some of there stuff was usable. But once they came out with this proprietary Elastik player year's back, they went downhill. Between that and the level of piracy on their releases, it seems their level of quality gets worse and worse. So, in answer to your question, 'No', I don't think you're missing much of anything.
