    Nothing special™

They discovered hot water. Is what many other methods does, MCFACT (eLicenser) goes even beyond that (some code is never written in decrypted form to computer memory, is run by a "virtual machine" in a proprietary language) since years.

Nothing to be alarmed about, thanks for the link, interesting read anyway.

That's okay, I've heard some teams prefer to work this way.

Yeah this is nothing new and beyond that someone in that article made a good point. This would create malware that is practically impossible to stop. People never think things through now do they. *no*

Simple, what can be locked can be unlocked, what can be encrypted can be decrypted, what can be fucked can be unfucked [oops?] etc... I don't think there's anything secure enough that cannot be hacked. Except iLok2? But we all know by now that it's only just too lengthy a process, not impossible. Given enough time anything can be cracked. *yes*

i don't understand any of this but i guess pretty much what i need i already have..i like to think i can go another decade with the 6tb of stuff i've collected..its only the deep desire to support developers which made me go legit on my recording pc..anyways if PT gets cracked i will try it..and thats because PT LE that i got bundled with sucks very very much

the biggest problem is here, when he will publish, he could make some good money with it, so i doubt little devs will jump on this, because it could cost them a lot.
the other way around if its distributed for free or little price is that malware/virus and worm packer will jump on this and it sounds like it could be stealth enough to replace protectors like themida, which are reversed and documented quite good.
