Is this possible? If so, how?

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing fine!

A not so long time ago I read something about it somewhere, but I do not know if I understood it wrong.

Well, let me put the question/doubt: is it possible to use Vital vst synth lfos to send midi cc messages using some kind of trick (a max device, for instance)? The intent is to assign Vital's lfos to control hardware parameters (or other plugin parameters) - just like you can do with some plugins like Polyverse music Gatekeeper, which can output midi cc to control parameters from other plugins/hardware.

Maybe in Bitwig? Reaper? (Ableton would be ideal).

    Thanks in advance!

either directly or with an intermediary

depend how your daw of choice handles automation.

    from Vital:

you assign a tool or a parameter to the lfo of the synth.

    from synth:

you assign a tool or a parameter to the lfo of vital

Thanks for taking the time, but I just can't make it work through automation (Ableton here).

Most synth plugins are the end of the line for the midi data into them. You are more likely to find a workaround using a MFX or 2, 2 duplicate midi tracks set to the same incoming midi channel. One source controller with 2 destinations, basically. It should be possible to get the same result, but you need to get a little creative how you set it up.
