I refrain from being anybody's judge but I think FL Studio, one of the most heavily pirated piece of software should tale lesson from IDM which is ignore all the pirates, keep your price reasonable/affordable and continue improving your product.

 

Image-Line's witch hunting: every major release (EVEN BETA!!!) eventually getting cracked;

Soundtoys, UAD, etc not witch hunting: hasn't been cracked in almost a decade or haven't been cracked at all.

I don't know how that sort of attitude prevents FL Studio from getting pirated, I don't think it's calculated at all. But, anyways, all I have to say is that it isn't helping, it almost feels like IL's enraged at the fact that it is yet to come up with an efficient DRM method.

 

Probably just the person maintaining their Twitter on that day being a bit overzealous.
