    @audnord Make sure that Thunderbolt 3 is supported in whichever motherboard you choose.

    The only thing I would consider changing is

    Get 3200mhz RAM. Ryzen benefits from faster RAM. And it is not that much more.

    12MB is not good, use either 16GB(2x8) or 32GB(2x16)

    You can config and check prices with https://se.pcpartpicker.com/

    For PSU use https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator

    For the Intel CPU get a motherboard with decent VRM like the Gigabyte Z390 PRO(has Thunderbolt header)
    https://be.hardware.info/reviews/88...rd-is-echt-8-core-waardig-benchmarks-vrm-test

    The Samsung 860 QVO would be my last choice for a boot drive, lower performance/endurance
    https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/samsung_860_qvo_2tb_ssd_review,1.html
    Something like Corsair MP510 is much better in both performance/endurance
    https://www.guru3d.com/articles-pages/corsair-force-series-mp510-m-2-ssd-review,1.html

    The best(noise/efficiency) air cooler is the Noctua NH-D15
    https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/6313/noctua-nh-d15-cpu-cooler-review/index6.html

    For audio workloads AMD GPU have less latency than Nvidia
    https://www.gearslutz.com/board/mus...tter-amd-graphic-cards-3-card-comparison.html

    If decides for AMD CPU, only the ASRock X570 line have ThunderBolt header like the Taichi X570, there will be models
    with built-in Thunderbolt like the ASRock X570 Creator, If ThunderBolt is not needed can economize some bucks by
    getting the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX(must be the MAX), it is good motherboard up to Ryzen 3800X.
    https://www.cclonline.com/product/2...ket-AM4-B450-Chipset-ATX-Motherboard/MBD2680/

    For AMD CPU I would get a bit faster RAM than 2600MHz

    The 3800x has only slightly better single core performance than the 9700K but it has twice the number of threads, so in multicore performance the Ryzen annihilates Intel. For only $50 more I think that's a no brainer.

    1. ditch the Nvidia chipset graphics card and go AMD, Nvidia tends to mess with audio sometimes, especially with Cubase.

    2. Your data drive is too slow, 7200rpm will serve you much better for streaming samples also look for a NAS drive, they excel at streaming media

    3. while thunderbolt 3 compatibility is nice it's not a deal-breaker unless you plan to buy a compatible audio interface and drive in the near future, not many products out there support it and they are pretty pricy.

    Go for the Ryzen .. it would be stupid to buy one year old Intel CPU .. I also came from a 9700 to a Ryzen 3700X .. Single Core Perfomance is much better .. my projects in ableton have up to 15% less CPU load ..

    I have to agree about the AMD graphic cards, noticed the same when i switched from Nvidia.

    Jag tycker inte priserna på Datorbyggaren verkade särskilt billigt.

    I have changed some in my specs and this is the most money i can spend, will this computer be good?

    * AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 3.9 GHz 36MB
    * Powercolor Radeon RX 570 4GB Red Dragon
    * Mobo - ASUS PRIME X570-P
    * Ballistix 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
    * HRDDRW - Corsair Force MP510 240GB
    * Seagate BarraCuda Desktop 3TB 5400rpm 256MB
    * Corsair Hydro H150i PRO RGB 360mm
    * PSU - Corsair RM750 750W (2019)

    Maybe this cooler instead?

    That 5400rpm Seagate needs to go. If it's for samples and games you want a 7200rpm drive.
    If you are using heavy samples like Orchestral stuff you'll need an SSD
